The KEHS Design Centre was officially opened last Thursday at a reception attended by governors, staff, Old Edwardians, students and parents from our current or recent public exam cohorts, friends of the school and representatives of the architects and contractors who brought the vision to life.
Marian Knight, Professor of Maternal and Child Population Health at Oxford Population Health’s National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit, has been recognised in the New Year Honours list 2023. She has been appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Maternal and Public Health.

On Wednesday 30 November, we held our GCSE awards and welcomed the ‘new’ Lower Sixths to school. The event was held in the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre and it was a chance to celebrate their outstanding results and to formally welcome the fifteen ‘new’ sixth formers who had joined the school after GSCEs.

On 16 July 2020, King Edward VI Foundation was notified by a third-party software provider of a data breach owing to a ransomware attack on their system. The School takes its approach to data security very seriously and we are taking all necessary steps to review and respond to this incident.
KEHS strives to give young women the tools to critically evaluate the world around them, and to help create positive change throughout their lives. After the violent and shocking death of George Floyd, current pupils and alumnae sprung into action for the BLM movement.

Students at KEHS are celebrating another impressive year at GCSE, with a stunning 59% of all the exams awarded the highest ranking Grade 9, a grade achieved only by the top scholars in the country.
Congratulations to all students and staff on a record set of A Level results with a remarkable 35% grades at A*, the highest percentage since the A* grade was introduced, 75% at A*/A and 96% grades at A*/B.
