Mr Cooper: 50 years in teaching

Tim Cooper, Teacher of Classics, is soon to complete his 50th year of teaching – 47 of which he has spent at KEHS!  During that time, he has held many diverse roles: Head of Classics, Head of Sixth Form, a Sixth Form Tutor, Tour Leader for trips in the UK and to Greece, Italy, Russia and France. He has also been involved in community events, including being our resident Father Christmas for many years at parties organised by the Sixth Form for local children, summer camps for children, and delivering food parcels to local people.

Just last year he was nominated for the ‘Positive Role Model for Age’ by the National Diversity Awards and only just lost out to the eventual winner. We are compiling a surprise ‘Memory Book’ for Tim and would be delighted if you could send any special memories using our online form before 1 May 2024.
