130th Anniversary Reunion

Celebrating 130 years of the Old Edwardian Club!

2019 marks the 130th anniversary of the Old Edwardian Club, and the 130th anniversary of Birmingham becoming a city. Coincidence? We think not!

On Saturday 6th July, KEHS will open its doors to Old Edwardians of all ages. Join us in the day for a get-together, a buffet lunch, and even a dip in the pool. Stay for the evening, for a celebration of some of our amazing alumnae, launched by OE Judy Cobham-Lowe OBE, over canapés and a glass of fizz.

Programme of Events

The Day

The day will begin at 10:30 with the Annual General Meeting of the Old Edwardian Club, for those wishing to attend.

At 11:00, we'll hold a welcome reception for Old Edwardians of all ages, before hearing the first of our guest speakers for the day. This will be followed by a fabulous buffet lunch in the school Dining Hall.

Old Edwardians are then welcome to spend the afternoon exploring all there is on offer. We'll have some pupils and recent leavers offering tours of the school. The swimming pool will be open for Old Eds to take a dip, as will the courts for anyone who fancies a spot of tennis! And of course, there will be plenty of time to catch up with old friends at your alma mater. If you'd like to book a private room for you and your classmates, please do let us know!

The Evening

At 18:00, we'll move over to the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre for a very special celebration of 130 years of amazing Old Edwardians. After a glass of fizz in the foyer, we'll hear from special guest speaker Judy Cobham-Lowe OBE (Class of 1964), who will launch our forthcoming Amazing Old Edwardians special edition magazine. You'll then have the opportunity to chat with some of these amazing women over drinks and canapés.
